- With a distinguished career spanning over five decades, Mel Treider brings a wealth of experience to the insurance industry. His journey began in 1967 as an agent with Farmers Insurance Group, transitioning to independent agency ownership in 1969.
- Subsequently, Mel held managerial roles, overseeing operations at Foster Insurance Managers in Fort Worth, Texas, until 1983. This experience fostered strong relationships within the insurance industry, particularly with claims adjusters. Leveraging his extensive knowledge, Mel transitioned to a claims adjusting role at Metroplex Adjustment, Inc. in 1983. His career trajectory continued with increasing responsibility, culminating in the position of Dallas-Fort Worth Branch Manager for Key Service Group.
- In 1997, Mel established his own independent adjustment firm in Arlington, Texas. Following a relocation to Mount Vernon, Texas, in 2007, his business expanded to encompass expert investigation, damage assessment, and expert witness testimony for both plaintiffs and defendants.
- Mel's expertise extends to property damage appraisal, where he has represented both insured and insurance company interests. His comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry is further evidenced by his experience serving as an umpire in appraisal disputes.
